In this Satsang Given by Dr. Roger B. Lane Dr. Lane Instructs us on three common ways people often approach life: 1) As victims: “Oh, this stuff randomly happens to me!”; 2) As reactors: we react and never initiate; 3) As storytellers: we observe with no real participation.
Learn that it’s not randomness that’s happening to us and that we’re not victims! There’s a particularized Divine Blueprint within each Soul and we’ve agreed to It. As for reactors, they’re at the mercy of thoughts and feelings and creating karma and always sitting in judgment and always outside themSelves. There’s no Freedom in That. There’s no Freedom at all. Storytellers hold grudges and feel like victims. They never “do”; they just tell stories.
Understand that victims, storytellers and reactors all forget one thing: the Reality of Who they are and that There is a way to Participate Actively: In God’s Name, Practicing Proper ID!
Know that there is a way to be active in this world Neutrally, without judgement, Practicing Proper Identification, not just observing! We are here to participate in it. It has to do with taking Direction from Spirit, from the Lord, God. The Solution is to do it in God’s name. We as Souls – as Initiated Souls - That have Access to Spirit, can Allow that Spiritual Energy within us to go to Spirit and It will be used in Creation, Whatever needs to be created.
Discover The Approach other than the common ways most of us approach life That Our Teacher was Taught by Spirit! That Approach is Directional.
Understand that Directional has to do with taking Direction from Spirit, from the Lord, God! And that sometimes That means going forward; sometimes It means withdrawing from the field of action; and sometimes It means waiting and holding steady or Holding the Light for others.
Know that we’re at Choice how to live our lives. We were given this Wonder-ful Opportunity through Initiation Into The Sound Current to come to Know ourSelves as Soul, as Spirit and to Know that God lives in us as us. A Golden Spiritual Opportunity! But we can’t do It storytelling or as victims or reactors. We can only do It as an Actor. And, if you’re fortunate enough, you’ll be a Directed Actor by the Great Director Himself. By the Lord, God.
