A306 “Shame And Guilt And Proper Identification: A Participatory Satsang”

In this Satsang Given by Dr. Roger Bruce Lane Dr. Lane begins with definitions. Shame has to do with falling short of an ideal. Guilt is having to do with you’ve done “wrong”. So this guilt-and-shame thing is saying “oh, I can’t measure up. I’m doing it ‘wrong’”. All coming from a negative perspective and we’re denying the Spirit that we are.
Please know that if what you aspire to is an ideal it is really something outside yourself! Shame and guilt are based on something in the external world, in the dualistic world and we are coming from a negative. If we feel we can’t really measure up to God it is a denial of the Spirit we are. It is a false identification. We are identifying with our thoughts and feelings.
As Dr. Lane Teaches, we are completely ignoring the fact that there’s another Tree in the Garden of Eden having to do with Gnosis – Knowledge – Knowledge of Self. In Gnosis you come into the Knowing of yourSelf as Soul, as Spirit, that you’re One and the Same.
Please understand that, in your Lifetime as a Soul, as you move into Knowing yourSelf and the simple Truth that God lives in you as you and start Practicing Proper Identification there is nothing to be ashamed of because you are It! You’re measuring up to It; It’s within you. You are just Waking up to It. You’re in the Process of Awakening. We are being Uplifted so we can hold the Frequency and, when we enter into what is called Eternal Life, It means we are free from the pull of our attachments, the pull of our karma.
Discover that the Teachings give us a lovely perspective on it! Please Know that we have this Opportunity to Remember! “Wide is the way but narrow is the gate the leads unto Eternal Life.” It’s through the Christed Consciousness. It’s through the Sound Current. It’s through the Holy Spirit.
And the Remedy’s real clear. The Remedy is Positive ID and Knowing we are Spirit. Do you think Adam and Eve would be covering their nakedness if they Knew they were Soul and they Knew they were Spirit? Of course not. There’s nothing to be embarrassed about. They are standing in Their Soul Body. That is God. That is Spirit. It’s the Same Material as the Great Oversoul. Nothing wrong with That!
Discover that the test for Reality is can you take it Home with you, can you take it with you before God! You can’t take shame with you; can’t take guilt with you.
Know that when we Practice Proper ID we Know we are all the Same! We are Souls. We are God. God lives in us as God. We all have an equal Opportunity to Come into That Knowing and every Soul eventually is going to Come into This Gnosis because That’s the Plan. Equality and Equity already handled a long time ago!
Understand that when we Practice Proper ID we let go of judgements on ourSelves! We need to regard ourSelves as God does, as The Teacher does. We need to Love ourSelves unconditionally. With a Deep Appreciation of having This Opportunity here in the body to Know ourSelves as Soul, as Spirit and to enJoy the Life that God has Given us. And guilt has no place in It and shame has no place in It.
Discover that, when we live in Integrity, guess what? We feed the Spirit we are. We don’t feed negativity and we use our ignorance to leap into Gnosis.
It’s that simple.
