A219 mp3: “The Story Of The Tuna Fish Sandwich: A Participatory Satsang”
In this Satsang given by Dr. Roger B. Lane Dr. Lane tells us about someone Dr. Lane knows well who had a medical procedure. Once in recovery, a monitor showed that the patient’s oxidation rate was low; and “before you know it, four doctors were talking about all these high-tech solutions to this major problem”. The patient, who hadn’t eaten in 17 hours, asked for a sandwich and that was all that was needed.
Dr. Lane used this situation to show how we need to live our lives as the Spirit we are: Not trying to solve a problem that doesn’t ‘exist’. Keep it simple! Keep it easy! It is in the “everydayness” – moment-to-moment - that Spirit is fulfilled. Being entirely Present. Focus here, right now, each moment, in the Oneness of Spirit. That’s where the Miracles are! That is what’s important!
Keeping it simple, Dr. Lane further Instructs, means referring things to the very basis of each moment. Am I in Alignment with The Teachings? Is My Focus with Spirit, with God? And like the patient Lovingly directing the doctors we’re Responsible for where we place our Focus.
Dr. Lane Teaches us, too, that keeping it simple means taking everything back to ourSelves, to the Reference Point of a Loving Consciousness. That’s the Cure!
Includes a Process led by Dr. Lane in Which we have the Opportunity to discover what we need to be healthy and whole and how we can give it to ourSelves; and a question-and-answer session where Dr. Lane asks us what we are going to allow to run through us: complications or the Truth of Spirit.
